Drake Sets Streaming Record With 'One Dance'
. ![]() (Classic Rock) Drake had hit a new milestone with his single "One Dance," from his Views album. The track has now been named the most streamed song in Spotify's history. Altogether "One Dance" has been streamed--drum roll, please--880 million times, which contributed to the 8 billion streams Drake has received on that platform alone. And that's considering the fact that Views was a two-week Apple Music exclusive, and didn't even hit Spotify until after that blackout window. Views also set the Spotify record for biggest consecutive streaming weeks. In its first week on the platform, Views earned 245 million streams, while in its second and third weeks it earned 141 million and 186 million streams, respectively (via Pitchfork). Read more here.
