Rod Stewart Now Sir Roderick After Being Knighted

(Radio.com) Rod Stewart is the latest music icon to be knighted in the UK. The singer was bestowed a knighthood at Buckingham Palace in recognition of his "services to music and charity." Stewart, now officially Sir Roderick, shared his excitement with the following "[It's] a monumental honor . . . I couldn't ask for anything more. I thank Her Majesty and promise to 'wear it well.'"
