Kid Cudi Goes To Rehab For 'Depression And Suicidal Urges'

(Radio.com) Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi) has checked himself into a rehab facility to battle 'depression and suicidal urges," the rapper revealed on Facebook. Calling himself a 'damaged human," the MC wrote about the way that he has been 'living a lie," and explained his situation to fans in an open letter.

'Its been difficult for me to find the words to what I'm about to share with you because I feel ashamed," he wrote. 'Ashamed to be a leader and hero to so many while admitting I've been living a lie. It took me a while to get to this place of commitment, but it is something I have to do for myself, my family, my best friend/daughter and all of you, my fans."

Kudi added that he has struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for years. 'I am not at peace," he wrote. "I haven't been since you've known me. If I didn't come here, I would've done something to myself." Read more here.
