Lukas Graham Releases Emotional Lyric Video
. ![]() (Radio.com) Typically, artists and bands tend to debut a lyric video before sharing a proper visual for each single they release, but Lukas Graham is going about things differently. Even though they already shared a full music video for "You're Not There," the group released an emotional lyric video for the song today. Be forewarned: You might want to pull out the tissues now. As fans know, frontman Lukas Forchhammer wrote the song about his late father Eugene Graham, who passed away and left the artist bereft. The lyric video stitches together photographs of Graham throughout the years, beginning with Forchhammer's early childhood and moving up to adulthood, but in every single picture Graham fades from view. His absence is a tangible loss. The song's lyrics flash at the bottom, and, combined with the photos, make the song even more sorrowful.Read more and watch the video here.
