Haken Announce 10th Anniversary Tour
.
(Metal Hammer) Haken have announced a 2017 European tour. The run of shows will take place throughout March and April to mark the London-based outfit's 10th anniversary - and to celebrate the February 3 reissues on 2CD and vinyl of 2010's Aquarius and 2011's Visions. The band say in a statement: "We are delighted to announce our Haken X European tour in celebration of our 10th anniversary. We'll be returning to some of our favorite cities and also paying a visit to several new countries including Austria, Hungary, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic. "In honor of the 10 years Haken has existed, we'll be revisiting material from our entire back catalogue with a special focus on our first two albums Aquarius and Visions. We sincerely hope you join us for this special run of shows and we'd be overjoyed to see each of y'all there." The band say Aquarius and Visions hold a special place in their hearts and that they wanted to bring them back in a "fresh and exciting way." Haken add: "Listeners will be able to enjoy the nuances in our instrumental arrangements and also embrace the complete audio experience of vinyl." See the tour dates here.
