Coldplay Recording New EP 'Kaleidoscope'

(Radio.com) Coldplay tweeted on Monday (November 21st) that they are back in the recording studio working on a new EP titled Kaleidoscope, which should arrive in 2017. "Hello everyone, we're working on some new songs for next year. It's called the Kaleidoscope ep. We hope you're well, love cm #KaleidoscopeEP� Coldplay (@coldplay) November 21, 2016" Radio.com spoke with Chris Martin in March about the band's future. Talk inevitably turned to Martin's statement about Coldplay's supposed final album. "I don't know whether we'll do another album," Martin said, "If you want the honest truth, I feel like we've done six and a half albums that I feel really proud of." He added that the band was in a great place. "I don't feel the need to add to anything," he said. "I just want to enjoy what we've made already. And also, I don't know how I feel about trying to make people buy more albums. I don't know. We'll see." Months later, it appears he's changed his tune. Read more here.
