(Radio.com) Morrissey was set to play a show in Colorado on Monday evening (November 14) and cancelled the show minutes into what would have been his performance after his keyboard player collapsed backstage.

According to Denver Post's The Know, Morrissey addressed the audience 15 minutes after he was set to perform, alerting them of his band member's health. He explained that Gustavo Manzur had collapsed minutes before backstage.

'This is a family, we stay together, and we can't move until we know what's happened to him," Morrissey told the crowd. 'We're going to sit backstage for awhile and wait to see what's happened to him, if there's any magical cure."

Twenty minutes later when no magical cure was found, guitarist Jesse Tobias broke the news to fans that the show would not go on. Read more here.
