Singled Out: One Less Reason's Break Me
. ![]() One Less Reason recently release their new album "The Memories Uninvited" and asked Cris Brown to tell us about the latest single from the album "Break Me". Here is the story: "Break Me is my interpretation of a specific aspect of the human condition. We all have the same emotional battles whether it's positive or negative. "Break Me" is about admitting you need help, and knowing that you've gone too far into yourself.
It reminds me of an old anecdote: A guy is stuck in a hole with no way out. A doctor walks by, writes a prescription, throws it in the hole and keeps walking. A priest walks by, says a prayer, and moves on. Finally the guy's friend walks by and jumps in with him. He screams "What the hell did you do that for?! Now we're both stuck in here" and the friend replies "Yeah - but I've been here before and I've figured the way out". This basically sums up the theme of "Break Me". Being vulnerable and confident enough to know when you need to reach out for help." Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
