Lukas Graham Release Emotional 'You're Not There' Video
. ![]() (Radio.com) Lukas Graham shared their new visual for "You're Not There," the emotional song about loss and grief that singer Lukas Forchhammer wrote after his father's death. Forchhammer rides around in an antique car driven by no one. The haunting image is meant to evoke the presence his dad has even while he remains absent. A single tear builds momentum and threatens to drown Forchhammer in grief, even while he's surrounded by gorgeous women and success. "You're not there to celebrate the man that you made/ You're not there to share in my success and mistakes/ Is it fair you'll never know the person I'll be?/ You're not there with me," he sings on the chorus. The video ends on a bleak note with a blindfolded Forchhammer making his way toward a cliff with no one to stop him because the person who needs to is no longer around. Read more here.
