Charli XCX Releases 'After the Afterparty' Video
. ![]() (Radio.com) Charli XCX has released a music video for her brand new track "After the Afterparty" which is one of the songs that will appear on her forthcoming as-yet-untitled studio album. In the video, Charli and her crew play zombies who are stumbling home from their late night out. It's a clever play on the way any kind of big party can make a person feel, but coming on Halloween it feels even more appropriate. But the video is less scary than sexy. Yes, that's right, Charli wants to make zombies sexy, or at least less unattractive than other TV shows and movies have portrayed them to be. In the video, blood is hot pink not red, and when zombies gnaw on people's necks and innards it looks more like bubblegum than anything really gross. Yachty even gets in the spirit, showing up with pink-dyed dreads and a pink plaid jacket and pants. Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
