Jay Z's References 'Lemonade' and Prince On New Remix
. ![]() (Radio.com) Jay-Z appears on the remix of Fat Joe and Remy Ma's single "All the Way Up," and he references Beyonce's Lemonade in his verse as well as late music great Prince. "You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions/Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is." He references Prince in a later line, rapping, 'We never gonna let the elevator take 'em down." It's the first time Jay-Z has addressed his wife's most recent album, which insinuates he cheated on her. He might get to have more of a say when the rumored joint album they recorded together drops. It also shows that the beef between the rapper and Fat Joe seems to really be over. The two appeared backstage at Beyonce's L.A. Formation show, sparking rumors that their bad blood was behind them. This remix solidifies that step forward. Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
