Dead & Company Announce Free Concert

Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company have announced plans to play a free show at The Filmore in San Francisco on May 23rd and in return they are asking fans to 'pay it forward'. The group writes in their Facebook announcement, "All we ask is that you "pay it forward" in some way, large or small, and share those acts of kindness with us by using the hashtag #DeadandCoSF. Please share your good deeds and generosity with us, and let the cosmos know how you are paying it forward." The group, which features former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti, also revealed that tickets for the show will be available beginning today, May 19 at Noon PST and provided a link that can be found here.
