(New Rock Times) Volbeat have confirmed the addition of bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen on a full-time basis into the band. Larsen played bass with the Danish/American rockers during their recent U.S tour while he was also a tour session bassist with them in the past. Now though Larsen is a fully-fledged member of Volbeat, something frontman Michael Poulsen is thrilled with. He says: "We are happy to announce that Kaspar Boye Larsen is officially now the new bass player in Volbeat. "We just got back from a great U.S. tour and Kaspar showed, as we expected, that he's the real deal. The fans love him and we can't wait for the rest of you to hook up with us as a full band again on our coming shows." In addition to his history with Volbeat, Kaspar was a member of punk band The Hitchcocks in addition to metallers The Kandidate. Read more here.
