Kesha Gets Personal In New Message to Fans
. ![]() (Radio.com) Kesha shared a personal message to fans via social media on Sunday evening (May 15). The singer posted a photo of herself standing in silhouette on a beach. In the caption, she opened up about her personal, professional and legal struggles of late and why she's not letting any of those battles stop her. Kesha wrote, "I have been battling depression and an eating disorder for a while now. my career is in a strange place and it feels like I'm fighting an uphill fight some days. but I have decided to take my life back. my freedom. my happiness. my voice. my worth." In the photo, she's raising both of her middle fingers high in the air. She wrote about her new attitude, "I will not just f-ing be quiet and hide. today I will say f- it and live. So F- it. today I'm making that choice. AND IM HAPPY AS A DAMN CLAM." And she had one word for the inevitable haters who love to troll Instagram and Twitter.
