Drake Tells Concert Crowd More New Music Coming Soon
. ![]() (Radio.com) Drake performed a second surprise concert in Toronto on May 1, when he surprised the crowd when he shared that fans won't have to wait long between Views and his next project. Appearing outside at Ryerson University, Drake performed a mix of his recent work, including tracks from Views, his mixtape with Future and his single "Summer Sixteen" (via XXL). When he was done, he told the crowd, 'And I'ma tell you like this: Just because Views came out, it doesn't mean there's not new music on the way. So I'll see you soon. You know what it is." That echoes what he told Zane Lowe during an interview that coincided with Views' release late on April 28. At the time, he said he had new music planned to drop this summer. Although he might already be looking ahead, Drake spent the weekend celebrating his new album's release. In addition to performing at Ryerson, he also held an outdoor concert at the Air Canada Centre on April 29. Check out his shout-out to Ryerson, as well as video capturing his announcement, here.
