Country Icon Don Williams Announces Retirement
. 'It's time to hang my hat up and enjoy some quiet time at home. I'm so thankful for my fans, my friends and my family for their everlasting love and support," said Williams in a press release. During his career, Williams earned the title of CMA Male Vocalist of the Year in 1978 and his hit "Tulsa Time" was named Record of the Year by the ACM in 1979.
