Kelly Clarkson Announces New 'Soulful Album' and Free Downloads
. ![]() (Radio.com) All last week Kelly Clarkson teased a big announcement--three to be in fact--by performing a different song cover every day on Facebook Live. On Friday (June 23) after all that waiting, her news is finally out. Clarkson shared that she signed a new contract with Atlantic Records. The company will be allowing her to make an "amazing soulful album," a project she has been wanting to do ever since she was a little kid. For those fans who have been clamoring for a country album, Clarkson praised Atlantic's country department and said that was a complete possibility down the road. Clarkson also announced that on the last Friday of every month she will be sharing content fans can download for free at KellyClarksonLive.com. "I think there should be a reward for being so loyal and cool," she said. The things she shares every month will differ. "We've done so much stuff, and we have so many songs recorded from tour or just us in the studio or whatever," she explained. At times it will involve song downloads, at others it could be video content like the Facebook Live performances. Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
