Kelsea Ballerini Surprises Young Fan In Nashville
. ![]() (Radio.com) Kelsea Ballerini gave one young fan a surprise he's sure not to forget. 12-year-old Landon Wall from North Carolina performed his original song "Lost Boy," an answer to Ballerini's single "Peter Pan," at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe earlier in June. When he finished, Ballerini emerged from the audience, asked to borrow his guitar and sang "Peter Pan." Before he begins performing, Wall tells the crowd, "Me and my dad were driving down the road the other day and we heard Kelsea Ballerini's 'Peter Pan.' There's two sides to every story so we wondered, 'What would Peter Pan's side of the story sound like?'" (via Rolling Stone Country). The 12-year-old seems wise behind his years. His song touches upon the type of Peter Pan character who gets in his own way and loses a good thing. Once he wraps up to a smattering of applause, Ballerini takes to the stage, gives him a hug and asks to borrow his guitar. "If you're gonna sing the response, I get to sing mine, too," she said. After her sings "Peter Pan," Wall comes back up onstage to do a quick Snapchat at her request. "So I popped into the Bluebird because my buddy Landon was singing his response to 'Peter Pan,' called 'Lost Boy,' and now we're best friends," she said in the video. "Yes Ma'am," he responded shyly.
