Donald Glover Joins 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Cast

(Radio.com) Donald Glover may be joining the cast of the upcoming Spider-Man franchise reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming. The movie will venture back to Peter Parker's high school days. The film has already cast Tom Holland as Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as the female lead, Michael Keaton as the villain, and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, according to The Hollywood Reporter. What role Glover will possibly play is being kept under wraps for the moment. Glover's potential involvement means a big win for fans who have long wishes to see him included in the franchise. For 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man, Glover's fans began a campaign to cast him as the famous nice guy superhero. The part would eventually go to Andrew Garfield. Read more here.
