Colbie Caillat Announces New Album And Tour
. ![]() (Radio.com) Colbie Caillat announced her new album The Malibu Sessions and a North American tour in support of the effort. The new album marks the California singer-songwriter's first new release since 2014's Gypsy Heart. Although she hasn't shared a release date for the project yet, Caillat will be going on tour this fall with fiance Justin Young and High Dive Heart. It marks her first acoustic tour. "I've always wanted to play an acoustic tour," she said, according to the press release. "Showing the rawness of the songs I wrote in their natural state." Caillat shared how Young and High Dive Heart will not only serve as her backing band and opening acts throughout the tour, but how they also contributed to helping her write her newest album. "Justin Young and High Dive Heart will be trading off 1st & 2nd opening slots each night and they will also be my band members," she explained. "We're playing my new album in its entirety from its running order. We'll also be playing songs from previous albums and doing a Q&A. I've never been more excited for a tour than I am this one!"
