Christina Grimmie Praised By Brother At New Jersey Vigil
. ![]() (Radio.com) Hundreds of mourners gathered in Evesham, New Jersey at Marlton Memorial Sports Complex on Monday night (June 13), to remember Christina Grimmie. The vigil included emotional speeches by friends and family, each of whom praised the singer for her love of her family, friends and faith, reported Billboard. "Christina was awesome. She loved this town, she loved this state, she loved singing, she loved the Lord and she loved me and she was just my baby sister," Grimmie's brother, Marcus, said. Marcus shared his gratitude for the outpouring of support from the music community, including Twenty One Pilots and Selena Gomez, both of whom who paid tribute to her in concert. "She's in a better place," he said. "Thank you to everyone once again. I wish I could elaborate more, you guys didn't know her like I did, so thank you." Read more here.
