Rare 1998 Britney Spears Live Performance Goes Online

(Radio.com) Footage recently surfaced showing a young Britney Spears before she became a household name and international star. The 12-minute video is from a 1998 showcase Britney performed in Singapore (via PopCrush). Her appearance preempts her debut studio album �Baby One More Time, which dropped in January 1999, and could have been her label's attempt to introduce her to foreign markets. During the showcase, Britney, dressed in a slinky dress, sings live to pre-recorded tracks titled "�Baby One More Time," "Sometimes," and a cover of The Jets' "You Got It All." The first two songs would eventually become part of her first album. The video doesn't features the stage flare that would come to define her live performances, including barely there costumes and an array of backup dancers.
