Oasis Documentary 'Supersonic' Coming In October
. ![]() (Radio.com) The contentious relationship between Oasis' Noel and Liam Gallagher means they won't be appearing onscreen together in a new documentary about the band, but that hasn't stopped the filmmakers from making the movie. Supersonic will chart Oasis' success, breakup and aftermath, and comes from the team who produced the critically acclaimed Amy Winehouse documentary Amy, reported NME. Mat Whitecross will direct the film and Amy director Asif Kapadia will serve as executive-director. Rather than include talking head videos interspersed with archival footage like many documentaries, Supersonic will feature only quotes from and about the band members.
