Mac Miller Releases New Track 'Dang!'

(Radio.com) Just one year after releasing his last album GO:OD AM, Mac Miller is back to follow it up with The Divine Feminine. Thursday (July 28), he shared the first single off that project, "Dang!" feat. Anderson .Paak. "Dang!" has a part-pop, part-funk vibe driving the rhythm and melody to give it a slick, relaxed feel. Trumpets pepper the beat and add an extra flare to the overall production. Mac raps in his opening verse, "How many mistakes do it take 'til you leave/ And I'm left with my hands and my face all red/ And the face lookin' at you like 'Wait!'/ I know I ain't the same, if it ain't too late, well/ I run away so fast with my heart like gold, but it break like glass/ And my sh- get old, and I act so young/ Baby, you so cold." The Divine Feminine will feature Kendrick Lamar, Cee-Lo Green and Robert Glasper (via Pitchfork) and arrives September 16.
