Blake Shelton Plots Free Show With Fans Via Social Media
.
(Radio.com) What's a musician to do when he has a day off and nothing to do? Why, play a free show. At least, that's what Blake Shelton did in Kansas City on Wednesday (July 27). The country star asked fans on Twitter what he should do with his day off. "Hmmmm. Well.. Let's play a game y'all. I have the day off and a map of the United States in front of me. Where should I go?" he wrote to fans early Wednesday morning. One early bird got the worm. A fan asked Shelton if he was planning on playing a free show somewhere. Shelton responded that he was only thinking of going somewhere and was looking for suggestions about what to do, but the fan's tweet got him thinking. "Hell I guess I could," he tweeted. Within minutes, things were in the works. "Ok.. I got the band together. They're ready.. Now where to?!!!" He followed up that question with two more mysterious posts, sharing that something was in the works. Kansas City was the lucky winner. "Hey Kansas City.. You!!!!! Tonight! Whiskey Tango Doors at 7:30 PM First come, first serve," he tweeted. Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
