Drake Shares Funny 'Dear Mom' Letter
. ![]() (Radio.com) Ten years ago, Drake was not the top-of-the-world superstar we know today. He was a former Degrassi actor and promising rapper on the cusp of his first mainstream pop and hip-hop success. A key business partner in the early days of Drake, Inc. was his mom: On Instagram, Drake shared a note he wrote her when money was tight, eBay receipts were stacking up, and his photo wire subscription was getting a bit too expensive. "Dear Mom," Drake wrote, "I have cancelled the WireImage subscription due to my Ebay charges coming to more than I had planned for. Please know that you will [be] reimbursed fully through several methods and or means of payment. Thanks for temporarily funding my music and wardrobe." The photo was captioned: "eBay was the addiction back in 2006. Def come a long way and it's safe to say I most likely settled this debt. #NothingWithoutMyMom #IProbablyBoughtSomeEvisuJeans," See the post here.
