De La Soul Release New Song 'Royalty Capes'
. ![]() (Radio.com) With just about a month to go before the next De La Soul album comes out, the group has released a new song called "Royalty Capes," which kicks off with string accompaniment and later features a horn section. De La Soul's ninth full-length, And the Anonymous Nobody, will be released August 26 and will feature David Byrne, Damon Albarn, Usher, Little Dragon, Estelle, Pete Rock, 2 Chainz, Jill Scott, and more. In February, the hip-hop group announced that they signed a multi-year deal with Kobalt Label Services. Their Kickstarter campaign raised $600,000 for the album, And The Anonymous Nobody, which was produced by De La Soul and Dave West. Check out the new song here.
