Kacey Musgraves And Weezer Cover 'Island In The Sun'
. ![]() (Radio.com) Weezer and Kacey Musgraves joined forces on Wednesday night (July 13) in Nashville for a cover of "Island in the Sun." The audience at Ascend Amphitheater was treated to a rare collaboration on the track which originally appeared on Weezer's 2001 self titled album, also referred to as "the green album." Musgraves has covered the song as part of her own live set for years. "The very talented @spaceykacey joined us onstage for a proper Nashville rendition of "Island" tonight," the band wrote in an Instagram post. "Thanks so much Kacey!! #nashville."
