. ![]() (Classic Rock) David Bowie's Blackstar album is the best-selling vinyl release of 2016 so far in the U.K, according to figures published by The Vinyl Factory, who revealed the top 10 list. Blackstar was released on Bowie's 69th birthday, just two days before his death. It has sold 57,000 vinyl copies this year so far, with the nearest rival being Adele's 25 with 36,000 sales. Blurryface by Twenty One Pilots is third in the list. The Musicians' Union has welcomed the news, saying it indicates young people are buying more physical products.
