Blink-182 Fill In For Hollywood Vampires On The Late Show
.
(Radio.com) After Hollywood Vampires had to cancel their appearance on the Late Show with Steven Colbert while guitarist Joe Perry recover's from his health scare, Blink-182 saved the day by filling in and delivering a note-perfect version of their latest single "Bored to Death." The song is from the band's seventh album, California, which debuted at the No. 1 slot on the Billboard album chart. The album is the band's first to include vocalist and guitarist Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio), who joined the band after founding guitarist Tom DeLonge left (or didn't) in January 2015 to pursue other ventures. Blink-182 will launch a North American tour July 21st in San Diego. As previously reported, Perry collapsed onstage during a Hollywood Vampires show July 10 in Brooklyn. His condition has since been reported as stable and Hollywood Vampires are continuing to tour while he recovers. Check out the Late Show performance here.
