Chvrches Recruit Hayley Williams For Animated 'Bury It' Video
. ![]() (Radio.com) Chvrches joined Paramore on their annual Parahoy cruise in March, and it seems whatever friendship frontman Hayley Williams struck up with the trio has led to another creative project together. Williams appears on Chvrches' song "Bury It" as well as in the video, which was released Monday (July 11). The upbeat, techno-laced "Bury It" sees Williams come in on the second verse and add her trademark powerhouse vocals to the already uplifting track. As for the video, Chvrches and Williams get the cartoon treatment. The foursome become superheroes, discovering their power on the rooftop before taking to the sky. In the opening moments of the video, Chvrches stand around a bunch of ephemera, using their powers to lift it up into the air. That creates a bridge for Williams, who is on a separate rooftop, to step across and join them. All in all, it feels like a throwback to a classic 1990s cartoon style with a modern twist.
