Trent Reznor And Atticus Ross Preview NASA Inspired 'Juno'

(Radio.com) Weezer isn't the only band to sing NASA's praises in their new song "I Love the USA." Trent Reznor and collaborator Atticus Ross have released a separate single "Juno" for the space agency.

Their song's title reflects the name of NASA's space craft, which is currently en route to the solar system's oldest planet. It is expected to arrive July 4, according to the song's trailer. In addition to the spacey sound they developed for "Juno," Reznor and Ross' song also apparently contains sounds of Jupiter singing (via CoS).

Reznor and Ross have teamed up several times before, including 2010's film The Social Network and 2014's Gone Girl. Once again, their work exhibits a "cinematic" quality, as the song's description states on YouTube. "From its feverish atmospherics to its chains of glassy melody to its haunting textures, which sound like the surface of some distant planet must feel," their single "Juno" mirrors the very space through which the craft travels.
