Lil Wayne's Prison Memoir Finally Set For Release
. ![]() (Radio.com) The wait for Lil Wayne's prison memoir has been longer than his eight month incarceration. Gone Til November, which is titled after the first letter Wayne wrote in prison, was initially scheduled for release in 2012. Now, publisher Penguin Random House has announced the book will hit the shelves October. 11, almost four years later than expected.The memoir is based on Wayne's diaries from his eight months at New York's biggest prison, Rikers Island, in 2010. The rapper was sentenced after being caught with an illegal .40 caliber pistol after police saw him smoking marijuana following his gig at New York's Beacon Theatre. Read more here.
