Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros 'Wake Up The Sun' Video
. ![]() Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have released a new music video for their track "Wake Up The Sun". The song comes from the group's latest album PersonA. The video, directed by award winning acclaimed cinematographer Noaz Deshe was filmed just outside Chisanau, the capital of the eastern European country Moldova. Deshe explains in an interview in Nowness, "you find time stands still [in Moldova]-communism and religion are still the backdrop of an identity not yet conquered by the east or the west. It seems like any minute chain stores will spring up, but for now it is undefined by the powers that be. I was struck by the beauty of an identity not yet overtaken by what has become all-too familiar-the song struck that chord with me." Watch the video here.
