. Aldean was joined on stage for "1994" by Thomas Rhett, who co-wrote the tune with Luke Laird and Barry Dean (watch below). Additionally, the show's sizzle reel shows Rhett playing drums for part of his set. "We kicked off 2016 right in Moline, IL last night," Rhett wrote on Instagram.
