Weezer Premieres New Song 'LA Girlz'

(Radio.com) Weezer have released an online stream of the new track "La Girlz" from their upcoming project The White Album, and it sounds like a throwback to some of their more classic moments.

The band premiered the ode to Los Angeles women on Beats 1 Radio. In it, Rivers Cuomo waxes poetic about a love "like Dante and Beatrice." Things naturally take on a more melancholic tone, as he questions, "How is this going to end?" and begins repeating 'Does anybody love anybody as much as I love you baby?"

Heading into the song's climax, the guitars bleed together into harmonic rock. Weezer explodes towards the finale, resulting in an imaginative guitar solo that calls to mind their 1994 album Weezer aka The Blue Album. The White Album will be released on April 1. Listen to "LA Girlz" here.
