Martina McBride Teams with Sarah Cannon in 'Band Against Cancer'

. (Radio.com) Martina McBride is partnering with Sarah Cannon, the global cancer institute of Hospital Corporation of America, for their Band Against Cancer initiative.

The country music star will participate in the Sarah Cannon Tour, which will stop in several U.S. cities before its final stop at the Grand Ole Opry in October.

'Helping families who are facing cancer has always been a cause that is near and dear to my heart," McBride said. 'I'm honored to be the voice that connects these individuals and their families with a fully committed team of cancer experts.
