DJ Big Kap Dead At 45
. Although he was known for DJing with Funkmaster Flex in New York City at the legendary Tunnel nightclub and releasing an album, The Tunnel, on Def Jam in 1999, he was also a DJ for The Notorious B.I.G. early in the rapper's career. My own memories of Big Kap go all the way back to a time before the Hip Hop world got to know him when he was just starting his career as a DJ, he and DJ Enuff were DJs for a party I used to promote. Sorry to see him go so soon. Tributes from his fellow artists have filled social media. See some of them here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
