Def Leppard announced on Monday that they have been forced to postpone the remaining dates for their winter tour of the U.S. in support of their recently released self-titled album.

The band had previously canceled the kick off dates for the trek last week due to frontman Joe Elliott falling ill. He was previously sidelined on the band's Hysteria On The High Seas due to severe laryngitis.

Now the band revealed that they have been forced to postpone all of the dates from tonight's show in San Antonio until February 17th in Allentown, PA "due to illness."

Drummer Rick Allen told fans via his Twitter account on Sunday, "The Doctor basically said that if Joe continues to sing without resting his throat for a month he might do permanent damage."
