(Radio.com) Cole Swindell has announced his sophomore album, You Should Be Here, will be released on May 6th. The project takes its name from the lead single, which was written by Swindell and Ashley Gorley, about the loss of the singer-songwriter's father.

"I thought about my dad," Swindell told Radio.com about writing the song. "Just all the things that I get to do. It ain't even for the folks that maybe haven't lost somebody, maybe you just miss somebody.

"Maybe you have family in another state, or there's those moments in life that we all get to share, and it's like if that one person was here, man, they'd freak out, they would love it." See Cole Swindell's Upcoming Tour Dates here.
