Butch Trucks and The Freight Train Announce Holiday Tour
. ![]() Butch Trucks and The Freight Train, lead by Allman Brothers founding member Butch Trucks, have announced their Second Annual Holiday Tour. The U.S. trek is scheduled to kick off on December 27th in Stuart, Fl at Terra Fermata and will be concluding on January 6th in Rocky Mount, Va at the Harvester Performance Ctr. The band has also announced a series of Spring tour dates beginning on March 25th in Fest Bethlehem, Pa at the Blast Furnace Blues Fest and run until May 20th where they will be playing at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Fest in Annapolis, MD. The group also features blues guitarist Damon Fowler, keyboardist Bruce Katz, percussionist Garrett Dawson, of The Dickey Betts Band, guitarist Chris Vitarello and 27-year-old bassist Matt Walker.
