Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki Release 'Just Hold On'
. ![]() (Radio.com) Niall Horan isn't the only One Directioner releasing new solo music. Louis Tomlinson partnered with producer and DJ Steve Aoki to release "Just Hold On," and now fans can hear the studio version of that song. Tomlinson originally premiered the song during the U.K.'s X Factor finale on Saturday (December 10th). Aoki joined him onstage for his solo debut. "Wish that you could build a time machine/ So you could see the thing's no one can see/ Feels like you're standing on the edge/ Looking at the stars and wishing you were them," Tomlinson sings in the opening verse. The upbeat, anthemic song's powerful message may have come at the right time for Tomlinson. His mother passed away less than a week before he performed the song on X Factor, but the refrain to "Just Hold On" may have been the encouragement he needed to get up and sing in front of thousands following that major loss.
