Elvis Presley Fans Make Pilgrimage To Graceland On Death Anniversary
. ![]() (Radio.com) It has been thirty-nine years since Elvis Presley died, yet his name and music lives on and thousands of fans continue to make the annual pilgrimage to his home in Memphis, Tennessee. On Monday (Aug. 15), a candlelit vigil was held at Graceland to celebrate the late singer's life. Fans traveled from around the world to visit the grave site, which is in the backyard of Elvis' estate. During the ceremony, Graceland officials announced they will build a new 200,000 square-foot entertainment complex across the street from the estate, reports Billboard. Read more here.
