Twenty One Pilots Starting To Get Songwriting Itch Again
. ![]() (Radio.com) The last year and a half has been very eventful for alt-rock band Twenty One Pilots. Since releasing Blurryface in May of 2015, the band has rocketed to the top of the charts, and have also gone from playing clubs to arenas: last week, they wrapped up their Emotional Roadshow World Tour with two sold out nights at New York's Madison Square Garden. Radio.com caught up with vocalist/keyboardist/bassist Tyler Joseph and drummer/trumpet player Josh Dun before the first of their two MSG concerts last week. When asked about their next album, they said that they hadn't started working on it, because they were so focused on the tour. But as Joseph told Radio.com that's about to change, "All that is to say that we've been putting a lot of energy into the live show, but we're starting to get that itch again, to start writing. To get new sounds and stuff, and so it's gonna happen." Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
