Kenny Chesney Streams Duet With Pink
. ![]() (Radio.com) Country super star Kenny Chesney and pop star Pink have joined forces for "Setting the World On Fire." It's another winning collaboration between a country artist and pop rocker. Like Dierks Bentley and Elle King's 'Different for Girls," the song contains country storytelling lyrics and instrumentation with killer vocals and harmonies. The story is about a couple whose relationship has moved a little faster than they expected, but they don't mind and have no regrets. Recently, Chesney changed the title for his next album, moved the release date and added the surprise duet. Apparently, Pink and Chesney became friendly when he was in California. The more he thought about "Setting the World on Fire" the more rhe realized he wanted a female voice on it. He decided Pink would be the perfect partner, and as Chesney told Taste of Country, 'She was able to capture the spark of the song." Listen to "Setting the World on Fire" here.
