Alicia Keys Announces New Music And 'SNL' Performance

. (Radio.com) Grammy Award winning singer Alicia Keys has been missing in action from music since her 2012 album Girl On Fire. That's all about to change because Keys announced via her newly started Snapchat that she has new music on the way and will be performing it on Saturday Night Live next month.

In the clip posted Saturday (April 16), the "Fire We Make" creator said, "I've been dying to share some news with you for awhile. 'You've been asking and asking and it's finally real. That's right. I have new music to share with you and I'm gonna be performing in the next couple of weeks."

Alicia will hit the SNL stage on May 7th to showcase her new material. She's been working on it with producer Pharrell Williams and her husband Swizz Beatz. Besides putting out new music, Keys is also preparing to take her seat as a coach on the 11th season of The Voice. Check out her Snapchat video here.
