(Radio.com) She may have wrapped up her public stint of playing "standards" when she competed for Best Original Song at this year's Academy Awards, but Lady Gaga couldn't resist slipping in a couple more jazzy classics for a small lunch crowd on April 4 in Beverly Hills.

Performing in billionaire Ron Burkle's backyard, Gaga sang "New York, New York" and Edith Piaf's "La Vie En Rose." The luncheon was planned to honor Gaga, who received the Jane Ortner Artist Award from the GRAMMY Museum, in recognition of her commitment to music education.

"I don't know where I would be without my education of music," she said in her emotional speech. Watch her collect her award and perform some Cheek to Cheek standards here.
