Nicki Minaj Announces Television Comedy Series

. (Radio.com) Nicki Minaj has revealed that she will executive produce and will appear in a scripted comedy television series that will be based on her life growing up in Queens.

"This is one of the more unique adventures I've ever embarked on," Minaj tells Deadline Hollywood. "I couldn't be more proud and excited to team up with an amazing group of people to give the world something really special."

In a twitter Q&A leading up to the big announcement Nicki teased fans with hints such as: The project has been "in the works for almost a year". See the rest of the tweets here.
