Kurt Cobain's Home Recordings Set For Release
. Due November 13, both the film and "Kurt Cobain - Montage Of Heck: The Home Recordings" feature various early and raw cassette recordings made by Kurt alone, giving fans a glimpse into Cobain's creative process. Named after a musical collage Cobain created with a 4-track cassette recorder in 1988, the package will be released in both deluxe and standard formats: a 31 track deluxe album available on CD, cassette, 2LP vinyl, and a 13 track standard edition CD. The 31-track deluxe soundtrack showcases tracks from the documentary including spoken word, demos and full songs, while the 13-track standard soundtrack focuses on the music discovered on Cobain's personal cassettes. A 7-inch single featuring Cobain's cover of The Beatles "And I Love Her" and "Sappy (Early Demo)" will be issued November 20 and the 2LP vinyl version of the soundtrack is due December 4.
