Now we know why, as the video was just released on Friday(September 25). In the video, Halsey seems to be a part of a group of twenty-somethings living off the grid; they are eventually captured by some fascist-looking police. Soon, the bad guys prepare to burn Halsey at the stake, but there's a rebellion and she and her friends escape. Read more and watch the video here.
